Evening all, any recommendations on repatriation insurance please?

I need to get it sorted before a portimao trip later this month.

I should really pull the trigger in case Portugal ends up back on the quarantine list!

Holidaysafe is one of the cheapest accepted options unless they’ve got unpaid bills piling up on the nearest hospital to the circuit

BeMoto are / used to be recommended by No Limits (i.e I think the owner had a cut) so worth a quotation as well.

Don’t forget your EHIC which is the first defence for medical treatment bills.

Holidaysafe and BeMoto are non starters because they are holiday insurance providers and their covers are null and void if travelling against FCO advice, so if Portugal get put back on the list you are screwed.

There is a Spanish company that do non-resident repatriation policies for the whole of europe for €89 a year, its not a holiday insurance, its is purely for the track riding element, I and many others have taken it for upcoming Estroril and Portimao trips ...

I am not an agent, nor advisor, just sharing what I have taken out.

Also if you take a BeMoto or Holiday Safe policy and Portugal get put back on the list, the whole policy is voided, I have a Holiday Safe policy in place for Estoril but have taken the RBG policy to be safe, theres a term in their policy that covers FCO guidance which doesn't apply to RBG as they are only covering you for track related issues, not flights / hotels etc ..

I took out a RGB Sport repatriation annual policy out a couple of years ago but the maximum value for repatriation was only £30K. I think the policy was only around 100 euros.
Fortunately I didn't need it, but have since learned that £30K is virtually nothing, with Focused Events saying that a medivac could cost about that alone and then there are all the other expenses on top of that.
The policy document I got from them as well was on a single page and was in Spanish (which is fare enough as they are Spanish) I did request a copy in English but I never received one, so I am not even sure what was in the policy.

I do need to purchase some more repatriation insurance for April 2021 so if any one could recommend a policy it would be appreciated

There currently is no alternatives with all the travel corridors shut, exhaustive research was done last year by all the TDO's not just the 2 wheeled ones, unless countries are taken off the travel advisory list then RBG is it, unless FE have found a new vendor of cover but I wasn't aware they had.
