Hello Bikerz,

I am looking for a part from a 12 V Honda " Little Cub C50", circa 1986.

The stator cover looks like this :

Does anyone have this collecting dust in the garage, or can point me to a breaker

that deals with these classics which were sold in huge UK numbers back in the day ?

Note : the top left screw mount in photo has been added later, original part looks like in the drawing.

Have you tried the C90 pages on Facebook? One of them I'm on has a fair few thousand members I think so well worth a post up on there.
Best of luck in your search

Hi Tom,

since I am not on FB I called UK breakers, looked in ebay UK, and found one(ish)............in Vietnam.
Don´t know if it will fit, and does look a bit more modern & edgy, but will give it a try.
What you see in the photo is a Honda Nice block where that Cub cover is a much better alternative to the bloated stock item.

By the way, nice blog you have on your site !

Hi Benni,

I think I found one (or 3) on Facebook earlier. Pm me and if its the right stuff we'll see if I can help you buy it as they wanted 25quid each of that's about right?
Anyway we can discuss that more later

Appreciate the kind words about the website, keep your eyes on it over the coming weeks as I've got a few developments to come through not least a revamp on the way the website looks!

All the best

Benni

What ? A parcel from Engerland ? PistonHeads Secret Santa with an early start ?

No, better than that, Parcel2Go and german partner GLS finally got their act together and delivered a shipment

which was sent on Oct 1st, frozen in transit since Oct 3rd, and was "no longer trackable".

A big "Thank You" to Motorsport Tom who managed to buy and send three covers,

one "hen´s teeth" with exact specs I was looking for, the other two I can use for other projects.

PH BB at it´s best.
