The MotoGP caravan rolls into Spain again for Barcelona. Big straight but lots of long medium speed corners too. If Bagnaia can keep it together he could be unstoppable. The whole track might well favour the Suzuki as they won't suffer down the long straight in a way Yamaha might: but how far back will they be in qualifying?

My rash and so far usually wrong prediction for the podium: given it's 2020 who knows?

1. Mir
2. Bagnaia
3. Pol Espagaro

It is a home race for the Espagaros. Without the fans there it might help them to keep the head and the track will definitely help the KTM's power.

I'd love to see Dovi do well. Sadly, for him & Ducati (for whatever reasons) he doesn't seem to have the same fire - of course being dumped/let go/unloved hasn't helped.

But this may be the year he got a title (despite no MM), but in your twilight years you can still say 'I was Moto GP champion'

So far all Yams and Suzis going well but KTM may piss on their chips. GP20 Dukes are struggling. AM73 and Taka going well, good to see them get in the top 10 in time attack at the end of FP2 as did Mir. Podium prediction? Fabio looks to have the pace:

1. Fabio
2. Maverick
3. Mir

Zarco for a top 5, AM73 for a top 10.

ETA: Just realised Rins ended up eleventh on combined times.

Fabio still looks great for race pace followed by a gaggle including Mav, Petrux(!), Pol, Brad, Franky & Mir. The other three Dukes aren't bad on race pace but at most only two will go through Q1 and the top 7 in Q1 are covered by under 0.250 so will be tight.

Have seen on other sites Dixon was told before Misano 2 he had to get his finger out or he'd be looking for another job. Seems to have responded.

I haven't kept up with the news since the last race so Crutchlow being on the bike yesterday was a surprise after seeing the state of his arm recently. Then he falls through a doorway and stuffs his ankle too hehe . Hopefully he can stay in the bike and score something.

Let's see a podium for SL22 today, he's been looking strong all weekend.

Bagnaia reckons he can come through from the back, trip to the kitty litter beckons... rolleyes Hopefully Jack and Pol can get in front of the Yams and break their rhthym up early on, Mir is going to be strong at the end; should be a good fight unless we have another bowling session at turn ten this year.

Miller doesn't seem to be able to make the bike work , he's still saying he's having problems under braking ,

I'm not really a rossi fan but it would be good for him to win just so we get yet another winner this season.

Regarding Dixon, to be honest, if you need a kick up the backside to start doing better maybe you are not in the right job, these guys are mostly all on it!

I'm just feeling a bit uninspired by dovi this year and find it odd he's leading. I guess its been such an exciting season with various talents staking their claim to be in the exclusive little club at the top, its hard not to be shadowed.

All it's going to take is bagnia , morbidelli , mir to win there 2nd race of the year and that's his lead gone .

Whoever ends up winning this season will be because marquez wasn't riding however you they can only only beat the riders that turn up to race.

From a fans point of view i'm loving it having different winners.
