Funny when I first got into bikes it was sportsbikes I couldn't see past but years later its stuff like this that turns my head in the street. I'm sure theres a company in Japan that takes these kind of bikes and modernises them with carbon wheels etc etc. Think they sell for a sum though haha.

That Laverda is a Cropredy Liberator conversion (minus the full fairing) - the normal Jota seat/bars are actually very comfortable for the taller gentleman, although the Liberator set-up is slightly more compromised but still not too cramped...
Yep.Thought I recognised the paint scheme.
There was one on eBay a few weeks ago, for the thick end of £30k....

Just thought gentlemen of a certain age might appreciate these three- heading out for a run together a couple of weeks ago...

Stunning!Almost bought a CB1100R as my first big bike , but it was suggested that they had all been raced at that time, so ended up with a Z1100A shaft - That was fun

Id have the 1100R. They were one of the bikes that gave me a trouser tent in the 80's.
Think I may have to try & buy a CB1100R then....long time since I experienced a trouser tent moment

Spot on - it's owner had been working on the bike and it wasn't quite ready come ride time, so instead of cancelling, he went Commando
