Where are bikes advertised for sale?

I'm talking about decent bikes, not Gumtree Grot. There's Autotrader and eBay, but where else would private sellers advertise fairly recent bikes?

It can be a real mixed bag, there are some decent bikes on Facebook marketplace but also a lot of rubbish with poorly worded or brief descriptions.

I'm wondering where you can find those sort of tatty runners that dont cost an arm and a leg because "barn find".

I just want some sort of simple enduro for skidding around on through the winter. Sure it'll want some attenion to make it a bit safer and reliable, but thats part of the fun. There are plenty of these but they all cost loads because apparently rust is now desirable.

I generally look on Autotrader Bikes and MCN, between the two most things seem to be covered.

If you’re looking at only a few years old then the manufacturer’s site likely has some too.

FB marketplace was great for me when buying and selling. easy to hook in with the facebook forums on the particular bike so you could easily target the correct audience.

Definitely Facebook marketplace. Some tat but plenty decent bikes. Have to be quick though, search daily as a minimum. Good thing is is when you look at the same stuff, Facebook suggests things you might be interested in. I've found stacks through that.
