Morning all,

Just a quick recommendation to beat the lockdown / winter boredom, I have recently been watching the Wrecked Bike Rebuild series on the chaseontwowheels youtube channel.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxv9YlfVvjv...

General gist is they buy a cheap bike to restore and give away to patreon subscribers.
They discover a knocking noise in the engine and as they investigate they have to tear the entire engine apart.

Format works well with an experienced mechanic explaining to a novice with base understanding what everything is and why / how it works.

Personally I found it really interesting and learned a lot from it.

First few episodes are intro fluff, gets more interesting from about episode 4 or 5 onwards.

I have only watched this season but will circle back to the older ones when done.

The mechanic Brian certainly seems like he knows his st!

I dont plan on ripping apart any engines any time soon but it was interesting learning how the whole thing hangs together!

Brian is an Ex Ducati technician, he knows his stuff

I did wince at the parts cart checkout for engine bits alone!
