I recently looked for bike parts on google and was presented with some rather interesting prices for parts, on what appeared to be black friday sales.

I have a good look around and could see that the site even had provided telephone details for somewhere in Hampshire.

From previous experience on bikesalesonthenet.co.uk, and having been scammed on that site, I decided to call the number, and the gentleman who answered explained that his personal details had been stolen, and that the police and action fraud had been contacted.

When I was scammed through bikesalesonthenet, the person even gave me a tracking identifier which showed the part being delivered to Seattle, but when I questioned this, surprise, surprise, total silence.

It now looks like the person who scammed me, has set up some more sites with good prices, and is intent on taking advantage of the time of year to cash in andruin some peoples christmas presents.

Since they have registered with google ads, let's google for parts and hit the link lots of times so they run up a google bill and they get a lovely christmas bill from google, rather than having the chance to rip anybody off.

If you are thinking of buying any parts through sites, please look up the sites on trustpilot and beware.

Just sharing my experience to help others avoid the displeasure.

I genuinely don't know, but its a volume thing. If enough of us do it, it will give them a nice bill from google, and maybe, just maybe, they will learn a bit of a lesson.

We all know that the police will do nothing, after all.

You can report the ads to google, next to the address is a little down arrow, click it then click "why this ad" and another box pops up with an option to report it, in breach of google ad policies due to misrepresentation.

you need to google for the parts through Google, for the site owner to be charged for the adwords traffic

If you see covics, or bikesalesonthenet, bingo
