Sorry,I was just trying to see if I could post a pic.
This little piece of plastic is causing me sleepless night's and i'm out of options,i'm hoping that the PH massive might have a clue what it is and where I can get one.
It's out of a fork stachion from a Beta Rev 3 250cc 2007 and I need a replacement, however local dealer cannot help and the piece does not show up on any of the exploded drawings of the fork.

Sits in the top of the stachion with a metal clip sitting in the top groove holding it in.
Long shot I know but i've never seen BB fail yet.

Take the picture again holding your phone so it's upright. you can also download the already posted picture, rotate it on your pc and the upload it again. Easier to take the picture holding your phone the right way up though.

Maybe try to find someone with a 3d printer and print one.

If the dealer can't help this may be your only chance smile.
I could get the part made no problem, unfortunately I put it away somewhere safe while I was stripping the rest of the bike,I don’t think I need to add any more. frown

My only option now is to buy some old forks and try and get the bastid thing out in one piece.

Pretty sure that is actually part of the damper assembly and not the stantion.

As mentioned before though, a decent 3d service will be able to photo-scan it and print it in a range of materials.

A quick search found this :

part #18, plastic guide bushing, 37,50€ though.

From here : https://www.mxc.de/beta-rev3-250-06-gabel.html

Maybe contace these guys with pic, to make sure this would be the right part,

I would order two and overhaul the other leg as well.

Are there no UK shops for this ?

Thanks for that Rubin.
Pretty sure with the shape of it it's something to do with the damper. I didn't mean I thought it was part of the stanchion I just meant it sits in the groove on top of it,I probably worded it badly as I was rushing.

I'm probably being very naive as I know nothing about 3d printing but you can't mean they can make one from the single crappy photo i've posted here?
I don't have or can find a proper picture of the part.

These guys should be able to help out.

At least you know what you are looking for now smile

If not, greenlandmx are decent and might be able to help too

eta: that probably isn't the exact one, not knowing the exact detail for your forks smile

Hi Benni.
Thanks for taking time to have a look.

Already been on to local dealer who has been on to Beta with no luck. The trouble is that the company that made the forks(Paioli) no longer exists so getting spares is getting very difficult.

I could take the gamble and order the bit you have noted (it is only in one stanchion) which is probably what I will end up doing in the end.
