2 stroke oil type/smell
Discussion
Bit of an odd post but I'll try to explain.
I've got a Suzuki, with CCIS. Imported from Japan, so of course it still had the genuine green CCIS oil in the oil tank tank.
Suzuki don't sell CCIS oil here anymore (and I can't import it - not worth the hassle really).
Sooooooo anyways, I miss the smell
as I'm using Gulf Syntrac just now so I can still use it.
Onto my question, what smells similar and is JASO FC minimum?
Also, do scented oils actually smell when it's burnt or will it just make the oil tank smell?

Don't think I can use either of them with oil injection.
I'll probably end up trying all sorts of oils one after the other

I can vouch that the fully synthetic castrol power 1 racing 2T oil smells very good as well...
Yeah I did take a look at those, I'll probably give it a bottle a go and see. I'll probably end up trying all sorts of oils one after the other

Castrol R is the stuff you need. Such a distinctive smell. Pretty much all two stroke racers used to run it back in the day and it's such an evocative small for me now
The best smell in motorcycling.Any modern 2 stroke oil is far better than anything available back then.
Someone should bottle the R smell and market it.
