MOT done today, not even done 1 mile since last one in 2017!

Took one of my bikes to MOT today in the van, it was still in the van having collected it last weekend having "had a birthday", ie lots of little jobs done!. Bike last used in 2016, but MOTd in summer 17, took it in the van with another bike, passed, put in shed, when went to go out on it a few weeks later, the master cylinder on front brake had sprung a leak (Suzuki recalled part) and it lost all lever. So i ordered a Brembo RCS 19 for it, which up til 10 days ago sat in a box under my desk!
Took the opportunity to get local bike guy who had a cancellation to have it in for a week, fitted brembo, balanced TBs, oil, filter, new fuel filter, plugs, chain, sprockets and gave it a birthday. Sat in the van a few days, got an MOT slot this morning, took it down all passed no probs. Get MOT, and it shows last MOT in July 2017, and today, same bloody mileage!! Told the missus, big mistake, apparently i have too many bikes!
It's done about 100 miles in back of a van in 3 years!, but none under its own steam!!
TBH, i only took it today as it was loaded up, otherwise i would have waited til march.

Got another bike at same guy this week having bit more done, new shock, steering damper kit, new exhaust, etc etc. At least i did ride that about 80 miles since last MOT!!

Not as good as Irn Bru.

I’m saddened that I’ve not ridden it is 3 years and that I paid for an mot and tax that I never used. Always insured, mind, but noticing the mileage the same on the MOT made me think, WTF. Guy even rode it up road at mot place to check speedo was working!

No way Pedro, it’s part of the collection, I keep them all insured but only a few taxed and MOTD as I can only ride so much.
KTM I ride most as it does everything (super duke gt) the older stuff I keep a few ‘on the road’ but don’t get out that often.
This is my favourite bike, it’s not the best bike I own by any stretch but it’s not going anywhere, (as mot history is testament to!

Best time of the year to get an MOT in my opinion, there's way to much of a rush come March/April.

Handy having a van too if the weather is bad.

Took the Superduke today, it was one of the super bargain £6k off ones from Dec 17 so was pre reg'd. Rode that down, not that nice, mud and st everywhere on roads!.

Get another one done next week then that will do til spring.
