2021 100th anniversary of the marque will see new 850cc versions of the V7. A Stone and a Special are to be produced with singificant changes from the current 750 (744) V7III.

Saw this on MCN earlier, have to say an 850 Speciale sounds a pleasant thing to bimble about on.

That looks lovely. Lovely summers day pottering about bike. I was tempted by the current model but the new one looks so much better.

I'm wondering how much more than nine bags the Special is going to be, and how much I can get for mine trade in!

Oh excellent! They both look great but I feel like I want bits of each to make the perfect bike!

Fairly standard (oops) among current V7 owners. I was at a meet in September with about a dozen others and not one was as it came from Mandello...

Are the rear shocks on these going to be adjustable or just give the appearance of being adjustable?

They both look good but I think I'd rather have an original 1970's T3

A lot of my interest in them is due to the 70s Le Mans with the little bikini fairing, matt black paint. and cast wheels.

Will the centenary celebrations happen in Sept. or will Europe be on a Covid-19 Strain IV lockdown by then?

I was struggling to see the difference. Side by side with V7 III shown below. I prefer the older one.

Could do with a bit more grunt as per the V85TT. However, there was an article in Motorcycle Sport and Leisure ages ago about an MG dealer in I think Keighley that did a lot of tuning and customising so it could be possible...

I've got a V7 III special in that lighter blue, as said I won't be running out to update. Think guzzi have missed an opportunity to be honest in not putting the full BHP version of the V85 engine in it (I could have possibly been interested in exchanging mine). It's consigned the V7 to being a Sunday morning coffee machine. I live in the hope that at some point they will put a 1000-1400 engine in a similar V7 package, Moto Guzzi could be so much more.

Particularly as the V11 Brera seemed to sell much more than the V7 version.

Nobody knows, of course, but my airbnb is booked already.

Hugely depends on what you're using it for, surely?

The Special looks fab (Milk Tray paint job!). I'm glad it's kept the analogue clocks - the LCD version on the Stone is fugly!

My only wish is that MG had stuck another disc on the front - I felt my V7 Cafe Classic needed it at times.
