Pretty generic accessory plug, I don't know the name.

The older trickle chargers will pug into that, some of the heated jacktets etc.

Assume you don't have the charger yet....when you buy one it will come with the lead to connect to the battery.

The one in the picture looks knackered.

Hey can I use a normal 12v battery charger or something else? My 12v battery charger comes with crocoidle clips for neg and pos. Is there another cable/ connector I can buy to connect the two of them up, or would i have to buy a new charger for this purpuse?

Easier to go and buy an optimate complete system. You’ll get one for less than 50 quid and it takes 5 mins to fit and forget the battery connectors which you position with a cable tie out of the way or even just leave it dangling somewhere safe away from the exhaust. Most folk have it exiting near or under the seat as that’s where most bike batteries are located. Are you ok to remove any fairings etc or are you fairly new to bikes? It’s a really simple thing to set up.

I believe it’s called an SAE connector, Oxford use it on their charger / conditioners, I have those on my Ducati’s
Here’s a link to an eBay vendor offering various suitable plugs etc.

Optimate 'TM' connector although I agree it doesn't look too healthy.

Ah that explains a lot. Not SAE, seemingly Oxford continue to use the TM connectors

If you google 'Tamiya power connectors' you'll find them...
They're commonly used as power connectors on RC models.
(I now have a small drawer full of them!!)

You could simply make a quick fly lead and connect that to your existing charger croc clips

(the cheapest and most ghetto would be a female bullet connector for positive and croc clip to the engine for neg.)
