I know that from a bikers perspective they are mindless cattle at the best of times but jesus, todays commute was something else. A woman on a roundabout changes lanes on to me, a bloke in a 911 just pulls out on to a roundabout without looking and a tosser in a 3-series starts to pull out on to the road to turn right (me going the other way), sees me and thinks "f*ck it" and pulls out anyway and *parks it* in my lane because he can't get into the traffic going his way causing me to slam on the anchors stopping just in time. What gives with these gimps?

Deep breath, cup of coffee, happy place.

I trust he got the message or did you remove his wind mirror (in your dreams of course)

Ive given up now. I see a car driver, and automatically assume its Mad Max time ..
Him or Me ... is he pulling over to let me past, or is he on his mobile, only to come back across as I filter past ?

I pointed at the white line on the road to the woman who changed lanes on the roundabout, I beeped the horn at the 911 driver who pulled out in front of me without looking and I went balistic and vented my spleen at the bmw driver who parked his car in my way and caused me to do a nine tenths emergency stop in the damp.

Can you guess how many gave/gestured any kind of apology?

Maybe next time when a car pulls across and stops in front you should brake, but not come to a complete stop until your front wheel/arm/pegs collide with their door/wing, enough to mark it, but not enough to damage your bike. If a driver has definitely seen you then pulling across like that is such a dangerous thing to do, they obviously don't care, a mark or two might make them think about it next time.

Exactly the reasons I fitted crash / desert bars to my bike.
