Any one have any feedback on buying from superbikefactory.co.uk?
From the photos online the bikes all look well prepared and in A1 condition but the ‘online’ element makes me a little worried that I could be buying a well polished turd.

Topic comes up quite a bit.

Here is one example https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

If you search loads more will come up.

Thanks trickywoo, a quick search would have been a good idea lol.
From the previous threads they don’t appear to be the nightmare that I was expecting.

You have a 14 day no quibble full refund if it’s not as you would like it to be. No risk.

They're relatively local to me and a mate works for them. They're an honest operation. Quality of stock varies from minty to indifferent. Prices are usually unbeatable. I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

Excellent, thanks for that.

They buy and sell anything but when I called on a couple of bikes the Salesman was very honest when asked direct questions

They certainly don't buy and sell anything as they wouldn't take my 2001 FJR as a trade in.

I meant condition wise - they aren't all mint nor all clean nor all tatty bikes

Bought a bike from SuperBike Factory a couple of years ago, only a cheapy ~£2.5K Yamaha XJ6 but aside from an aftermarket fitted alarm/imobiliser issue, it's been a trouble-free bike.

Their quality of stock definitely varies, the bike we initially intended to buy, on arrival/inspection turned out to be a bit shabby and rusty.

As long as their "no quibble full refund" really is just that then I'd say go for it.

Ask plenty of direct questions/specifics you want to know and they'll be open and honest.

I wouldn't be put-off buying from there again, and as has been said, their pricing is very competitive.

Aren’t on line purchases from dealer virtually risk free? Under distance selling regulations you can return within seven days... for any reason? Don’t know how easy it is to get money back though.... maybe depend on the retailer?!

I think that's the point of "Admin" fees and charging for delivery.

Plus if they want to be awkward it could take some time to get your money back and at the moment I suspect many aren't far off going bump

(I'm not talking about SBF specifically)

In theory it should be risk free but in reality it might be a bit of a drawn out process that’s best avoided if at all possible.
From the sound of it they have good and bad feedback the same as most dealers do so not what I was fearing.

bought my first motorbike from them last year in march. All is well, I reckon viewing the bikes in person is best idea but quite difficult in lockdown.

Read my reply again and didn't mean to come across as arsey. Aside from not taking my bike they were brand new at least from a sales perspective although i didn't buy in the end due to their trade in position so still have the FJR which is no hardship.
