Have decided to add a race day grandstand seat
For this year, but don’t know which stand to use.

Ordinarily, we get in early and watch from Vale opposite
The big screen.

I can’t find a map showing likely screen locations
So it’s trixky to choose which stand is best.

Any ideas?

Nae idea, have just floated the idea to her majesty though! smile

Usually there's a map on the official site showing you where the screens are located.

Becketts is usually my spot of choice. You get a covered grandstand in case the weather takes a turn, there's usually a big screen bang opposite, and it never gets old watching them throw the bikes from side to side through that section.

Gets my vote... but only if you are as far to the right of the stand as possible when looking out ie first row of seats.. wrap up though the wind doesn't half whip through

Not enough unsold seats at Becketts now, thinking about Luffield 3, I know theres a screen opposite that.

We are in Village A stand 2, its right in front of a screen, you can just see them go through Becketts and the hanger straight, then they appear in front of you and disappear behind the stand towards wellington.

As a corner to watch I recommend Woodcote over Becketts. I didn’t realise they were taking bookings this year for the GP.

This is using the money I paid to Silverstone for 2020, back in December 2019......

Oh a carry over. I don’t know how many IOM TT and Classic TT Ferry Crossings I’ve booked / rolled over.

I would only ever consider Friday, any other day is hugely overpriced and parking fees apply when there is more space there than at a town fete, daylight robbery for me sorry.

3 day early bird was £75, parking at Dadford road farm site £25.....

Dont think thats expensive at all.

Upgrade to raceday grandstand seat will be £125 additional, but as I havent spent a penny on watching live Motogp in 2 years, its a small price to pay.

What's bike parking like at Silverstone? Haven't been since the 80's. Can we just turn up on the bikes and park close to the entrance? Last Motogp I did on a bike was Valencia, with parking right by the main entrance.

Bikes normally can vary into the usual trackside
Parking areas.

Cheap compared with the F1, and free parking for motorbikes. Doesn't seem unreasonable.

I have a roaming ticket so any advice as to where to sit would be good. Prefer screen. First time going. biggrin
