I found practicing with a DVD to be pretty useful as you get to know what they are looking for.
I brought the DSA official hazard perception DVD & wish I hadn't wasted my money (9 or so clips which didn't bear much resemblance to the real test). My brother gave me his copy of the Driving Test Success Hazard Perception DVD which had a lot more clips and was a lot more useful imo.

I've just got in from doing my teory test, my riding schol lent me the Driving Test Success Hazard Perception DVD.
I found the real test a lot easier, the hazards stood out much more and looked very staged.

By the way I got 35/35 for the theory and 67/75 for the hazard perception.

I found it useful as after driving for 16 yrs I still failed a few of the hazard tests in the exam (the way they score it is a little frustrating)
