Now i've no idea who's organised this Superbike event, but maybe you guys on here could spread this warning about?

The Castle Combe mailouts have a bit:

"The police have advised us that they will have mobile speed camera on all local roads. Please respect our neighbours and observe all the speed limits through the local villages."

Last year, BIB were also pulling *every* bike on the way in to "check" for a tax-disk etc... (and small plates, race cans etc etc)... Must be easy money or something...

It was the same last year!

I put a post on another forum and you always get one tt that seems to agree with the usage of speed cameras no matter where they are.
I'm all for cameras in area'a where there is a school or town and citys where there would be alot of people are about.
But to put them in a layby in the middle of nowhere is just the plod trying to con us bikers and car drivers out of our hard earned cash!
