ride recommends on water proof jackets and gloves

Has anyone bought ride over the last year where they have the test for waterproof jackets and the test for waterproof gloves?

I'm not looking for a waterproof over suit but something to wear instead of a leather jacket, something gortex or whatever. I'm also looking for some winter gloves. They don't have to be the warmest in the world as I can buy some heated grips but they must be absolutely waterproof (and not just for the odd shower or for the first 2-3 months).

If anyone has these mags could they post the recommends and best buys for me please?

Ive got a Richa all weather jacket with ce armour removable lining etc very comfy and so far has been 100% waterproof and it cost me £80 its not ride recommended but better than some of the other large brand stuff you can get (ie dianneasy) hein gericke's own brand is pretty impressive as well , good value if your not a badge snob

I've got a Hein Gericke Voyager II and it's not leaked a drop in two years despite being washed twice (and being in two drops as well). Like most, the outer pockets aren't waterproof - as my mobile found out after a big storm

Did you get time to look for these by any chance? I've got a new job starting on monday and could do with some recommends so I can go shopping. Don't worry about the scans, a summary with makes/models/prices would be extremely useful.

Hi Dern sorry ive been away had a quick look but can only find summer gloves etc no winter stuff , you cant go wrong with hein gericke stuff it always seems to be highly rated , good luck

dern/mark im pretty sure ive got the ride issue with the winter stuff tested in it, im away for the weekend, but drop me an email and if ive got it you can borrow the mag.
