I've just noticed my back tyre is down to the tread indicator. Can't get a new tyre fitted until next Wednesday.

Other than the obvious danger of getting done by Police, how dangerous is this on dry roads?

It's not dangerous.

Might be more prone to a puncture perhaps. I got a slow flat on my last ride end of last year. I'd got my money's worth out of the tyres by then and they were low.

Just be mindful that it will probably 'Track' if you go over white lines, when it squares off.
A funny sensation the first time it happens.
Just use your strength to steer off it.

When it gets down to the wire that’s when you have to worry.

This may or may not relate to personal experience.

Wait until it gets down to the white indicators.
