Ducati supersport s 2017 Service costs

Looking at buying a Ducati supersport s so would like to know the service costs so I don’t get any nasty surprises.

Ie. Cost for 15k service with belts, valve check

I use this to work out future servicing costs:

Tyres x 2 £800 fitted and balanced plus environmental disposal additional £98
Chain and sprockets, Teflon coated ceramic carbon platinum link 530 £905 fitted.
Valve clearances checked and adjusted if required £1,890.00
Oil change using triple distilled fully synthetic chip fat £765


Sometimes I call the Ducati dealer and ask them.

That desmo service looks a bit too cheap - they’ll only listen to it for ~£2K.


On a serious note mine is a 2017 with half that mileage and going in for the “big service” at an Indy next week.

thanks for the replies that’s cheered me up no end.
Will give the local dealer a call and see if there’s some local specialists.
Might then just buy another Japanese bike and hang onto both kidneys in case a family member needs one

Jeez, must be massive regional variations. My last DESMO service (March 2019) on a 916 S4 (with belts) was 639.64! Ducati Glasgow used to run a winter service plan at much reduced rates. Now owned by Ducati Manchester so not sure what the revised costs will be.

Desmo service on a Supersport is at 18K, not 15K. Budget around a grand for it.

Annual service £300 ish, a bit more for 9K which includes air filter (tank off)

Will probably need a chain & sprocket in the mid teens .
