Just going for the Sunday this year. Can't wait actually, although i seem to have preferred the MotoGP the last couple of years.

Burnt and happy at another great weekend.

Smallest crowd I've seen since '99 which is not so good for circuit revenue after the debate JP had with them last year

Let's hope it doesn't affect future events.

Not bloody surprised if they have that kind of trouble in the car park afterwards every time!!

Stupid "marshall" wouldn't let cars out of the "bike-only" exit even though most of them had gone & none of the cars had moved for over an hour.....cue 20 or 30 slightly annoyed car drivers pointing out the error of his ways to said marshall & convincing him & the police it would be in their best interests to get the feck out the way.

I shall be sending a snotty letter to the relevant party.

Hmph.

But aside from that......s'the first time I've seen bike racing in the flesh & DAMN those guys must have cahoonas the size of footballs.....

If the ticket prices were more reasonable, more people might attend!

That said, excellent performance by messrs Corser and Haga.

My thoughts too.............£45 + another £25 if you want a seat in a grandstand.....thanks but no thanks.

Yep - I was hoping this might aid a swifter car park exit, but still took an hour to reach tarmac & another 1/2 hr to get to the M25..........but the missus thought it was great as did I. Great to see Haga snip a win in the 2nd race......did he or Corser go on the grass - I heard some distant mumbling commentary about someone grasstracking?
Bloody cold when the sun went in, but still managed a red hue

Corser ran on to the grass - passed Haga last lap but then ran wide.

Excellent racing even if overpriced.

Ah ha - saw Corser looking like he'd passed haga on the back straight under the bridge which explains the result

Last minute decision... Went on sunday. No free tickets available, so had to pay full entrance price

Fantastic Day out.
Was in the corporate Hospitality rooms. Awsome views of most of the circuit.
Could not believe the price of drinks .. £1.70 for a bottle of coke ..... £3.50 for a cheese burger!

Not as busy as 2001, but more people than last year.
I parked in the Hotel Car park by the main entrance

No problem getting out either

Who was the rider doing the burnouts and riding the mini moto down the track ?

Gotta dispute that ... that was the smallest crowd I've seen there in 6yrs. Last time it felt that quiet was in '98 ...

Last year was upper 120k's and the most was 132k one year ... I reckon it was 40k down on that this year ..

When you can see grass at Clearways from Paddock Hill you know it's very quiet ... And the amount of grass left at South Bank was in stark contrast to the levels I have seen for a few years ..

'99 was the first if the really really big crowds of the modern era, with Foggy at the height of his powers ... it's a shame the numbers were so low ..

Get a season ticket. £125 for all Motor Sport Vision 2 wheeled events throughout the year ... excellent value. Out of it I get ..

1 x BSB at Cadwell
2 X BSB at Brands
1 x BSB at Snetterton
2 x BSB at Oulton Park
1 x WSB (all 3 days) at Brands

Equivalent price is ... at least £160+

Plus on occasion I may go and see MRO rounds etc all incl.

As for complaints about the cost .... given that in my opinion it is the best racing we can view in the country, it is close, gladiatorial, paint swapping mayhem on occasions and is so accessible even without in depth bike knowledge.

It is a World round, they only come here twice a year and if MSV don't make enough from it, then they will give up the contract as it costs them a lot of money to get the round to come, we will lose another spectacle to somewhere like Qatar, or Turkey ...

I've been a season ticket holder for 3yrs, but would happily pay that every year to see 'em ..

But then I am biased

We wnet this year, paid £90 for grandstand seat, weekend pass and camping. Had a great time too.

Saturday qualifying was quite exicting and the Po Boys in concert were fab as normal.

But with the extra cost of tickets, i am not sure where the money has gone?

Sayng that the campsite was quite good - make le mans look a poorer effort, with the exception 1) where was Sainsbury's 2) Whats with the ten quid charge to lock up my lid
