I've just booked my 1250GS in for a service in late November, it's the earliest they could do it. Calendar wise it's not needed until the new year but in terms of mileage it theoretically needs doing in 600 miles time. How tolerant are BMW when it comes to honouring the warranty if the service is a few hundred miles late?

Never had a problem because of this. Mine is overdue and doing in on Friday for service and the modification to the shaft drive housing. When I booked it in I said that based on the date it will be overdue and they said don’t worry.

Never had any problems with warranty work being accepted on either of my S1000’s.
