Alan Carter in a recent podcast really rated him, which is a high accolade. However, when Jake Dixon sent to MOTO 2 he was a BSB Championship Contender and race winner. Rory hasn’t won a race and (injury aside) hasn’t really challenged for the championship. I wish him all the best and hope he brings home a MOTO 2 Championship in years to come.

I wonder who will pick his ride up at Kawasaki.

Brilliant.

I wonder who'll take his seat in moto3? A bump up for Jonathan Albert?

Fair point! - I've had some coffee now; mixed up Scott Ogden with Rory.

Dead chuffed for Rory, looking forward to watching his progress next season, and glad he's got two years to prove himself.

Valid point but Rory was outrageous on a supersport bike and went well in his two outings on a Moto 2 bike earlier this year given he'd never even sat on the thing beforehand.
I think the slightly smaller machines will suit his style more and he'll go well but we shall see, great news for him though as that is where he wants to be

Let’s get Tom Booth Amos on that spare superbike.
The lad can ride anything

Although Rory didn't bag any points on his first 2 Moto2 races he showed how fast he was on a bike and tracks he didn't know, no small task I would say. Plus I would imagine the team like the way he approached the opportunity and gelled with the team, I'm sure there's £££ and sponsors involved, possibly Dorna assistance also, but who cares? It's another Brit in Grand Prix.

Fingers crossed he'll transition well and in the two years he'll get some podiums/race wins and get an opportunity in the big class. I'd like to see Jake get a full time ride in MotoGP in the next year or two also.

I wonder if Leon Haslam will go back to the official Kawasaki Racing Team and continue his winning ways from 2016, 2017 and 2018.

He’ll be missed in BSB but he has to take this chance.. Good luck to the lad, he has some talent that’s for sure.
