I've had a Gilera Runner 180 before and that shifted, I imagine this one'd be mental!

I absolutely *love* super scooters. Weight is the key since there are many 'maxi-scooters' available with big engines, but weigh as much as real bikes.

I had 2 Runner 180s and a Dragster 180... I souped up one of the Runners with a dellorto carb, carbon reed valves, modified head and trick spanny chamber exhaust. One oversized front brake later (essential) and it was one mental bit of fun, wheelies and stoppies everywhere and *the* fastest thing in town

I'd have another one in a heartbeat but need to work out a project... unfortunately I had all 3 stolen in one year and can't afford to keep giving nice bikes to pikeys with Transits who trawl all the railway scooter parks

I don't think that nice looking Vespa would last 5 days before getting nicked here. My plan is to get an Aprilia SR125 scooter, with tatty panels, then put in the 172 malossi engine tuned to 25 bhp, a sodding big front brake and 50cc badges everywhere.

Anyone else here like fast scooters?

Yep, It's going on the Christmas list...

I think it'd look great in Dragon Red next to the Duke and 360.

Going really well mate, running second in the championship

Next one Cadwell on 10th Sep if you're interested (car track day on the wednesday before, bike on the Thursday (that's what I call a decent few days off work ))

Yuk!!! Automatic. If you want a powerful scooter what about a Suzuki Bergman or Honda Silver Wing, Still autos but the Bergman has a manual mode.
