Nice.

I had a beautiful black/black/black 2008 R1 (on an11 plate as it was unsold stock). I’d have kept it forever but it was stolen. mad

Nicest looking model imo.

The Red wheels and Yellow hose really set off the blue body work.

Noticed a few scuff like marks on the clutch cover and crash bung.

Its ok but its far from mint.

Its a grainy photo, and its a bit pathetic to pick on the use of one word in a description. Maybe getting a life would be an option.

It's the key word though isn't it, especially if you're going to post literally nothing apart from pictures.

I suspect a "My 2008 Yamaha R1" thread which included some description/your riding history/how long you've had it for/some insights about the bike etc etc, rather than just pictures, would have gone differently smile

Left the site in 2008, its still full of ignorant, jealous assholes.
Not too precious are you?? laugh

This thread is a lot gentler than you’ll find from the bike community elsewhere on the internet. Be grateful, and maybe try a different hobby.

An expression that, in terms of classifieds advertising, has lost all meaning.

mint
This word is used very often in the North East of England. Especially by teenagers on the streets and chavs. It's basically just used as a substitute for words meaning cool, class and ace.
thats proper mint that!

HTHBIDI.

If the owner is happy with it, to the point he calls it 'mint' then good luck to him, he's probably going to be happier than people who only see the flaws in the things they own and always want newer/better.
So long as he wasn't trying to sell me the bike.

Well, I like to say it how I see it and I am quite happy to be told the same.
