Ok, so being the new boy on the bike, I was travelling along the A127 to show off to a mate. However, an accident meant about a mile of queues before my turning. Rather than fly in between the traffic, I sat with the cars (clearly looking like a bike virgin) and crawled along! The temp guage on the bike went up to 107! Is this normal, or is there a problem??!!

Cheers.

Just filter slowly, an you don't need to check the mirrorsd so often either as the only thing catching you will be other bikes

(still check them obviously just not as often)

They have a very small water jacket so heat up quickly. So long as the temp drops quickly once you get moving there is nothing to worry about.

Yeah... that way when Mr Twat-In-A-Transit tries to squash your mate against the armco/other traffic you can observe, then either get his number or set fire to his van.

Good call... It's only now that I realise how many cars/vans purposely move over to block bikes getting through....Still, a quick shake of the wrist when you're past should make all feel better!
