Gatwick Airport parking

Going away for a long weekend and thinking of going to the airport with the bike.
Anyone left it and is it free?
Anything to be mindful?

I haven't parked there but according to a few sites, there are dedicated bike bays in the short stay car parks and it's free.

Yep I park my bike at Gatwick North regularly. It’s free and under cover. I use a duffel bag to store all riding gear and then cover bike once all locked.

Cheers all, is it correct what i read that you pick up the ticket at the gate to open but then on your way out you go through the gap w/o using the ticket?

Regularly park the bike free in both the North and south terminal short stay car parks.

At each, one entry and one exit gate has a shorter barrier that you can get a bike through without it having to raise, so no need to take a ticket.
