Well that's it

Kitty bike has gone to a new home... that's it for road riding for me.

24 years

21 bikes

2 crashes (1 as a pillion)

Not sure what next - need to consider my options, but I feel very very empty - despite having only ridden twice this year I've never had an empty garage before and it feels like I've left my baby on the bus.

Garage, empty .......where do you keep the S2000 ?

I hear Mr Vermulan (excuse spelling) may have a track blade for sale come the end of the year - if you don't mind it not being black

You clearly love riding on the road. You are clearly going to miss it. Why stop?

Ahhh..... but I don't love riding on the road anymore - I've only been on the road once this year and done 2 trackdays - it doesn't warrant having a new £8k bike in the garage & insuring + taxing it.

If I miss it dreadfully I will get a track bike but for the moment I will share Dave's bike - I got on with it really well at Val de Vienne.

Oh - and we have a driveway with CCTV for the S - but I've done some neat trickery in my garage & can fit both in there now

What was the trickery, 'cause I need to do the same....hoist the bike over the S's bonnet ?

I've got a kitchen worktop instead of a workbench (ie no legs). Bike fits underneath it & the S can fit in too.

Keeping the garage tidy helps too surprising what cr@p is accumulated in a space you don't have to live in!!
