Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced shed for the Gixer. Need a 9ft x 6ft, but looking at £500!!!
Are there specific "sheds" for bikes??

Cheers.

Many thanks, but was kinda thinking of just a wooden garden shed. Just that the size I need is just over the standard "norm"!!
Think I'll stick with the cover and padlocks!!!

Why not just try a shed from Argos or something, nice and cheap and will keep it out of the elements.

A shed is a good idea, certainly better than a cover.

If I remember correctly a GSXR is at least 39" across it's widest point, make sure you get one with double opening doors.

Try Carole Nash for other security aspects, they'll do you a discount on ground anchors, locks and chains if you insure through them.

Before I moved to a place with a Garage. I got one of the metal sheds from Argos....

You can get one that's huge and will do the job. (Easiest option)

If you want to save a bit of cash and if you're tight on space, you can get one that is just large enough for the bike but the door opens on the wrong side so you can't get the bike in...

Just do what I did and hinge up the side panel instead... Nice and easy, if you know how, keeps the bike out of sight and saves you insurance money

Had the same problem and couldn't find a shed I could get the bike through the door which wasn't huge. Built my own from scratch in the end within your budget and it's big enough for a couple of kayaks and a work bench too.
