That dent is where the bike landed tank first on my leg after a high side

Ouch!

Volvo slowed suddenly to 5mph in the fast lane of a Dual Carraige way - with nothing in front of him!!!

I think I lost the front in the wet under braking then it re-gripped and high sided (wasn't using rear brake or throttle)

But to be honest, all I remember is having time to think "F" (no time to finish the rest of the word) then I'm standing in the central reservation with someone asking me if I'm OK. Luckily this was at 30 mph so I'm fine just abit bruised battered and stiff.

I actually missed the Volvo and he didn't stop

That's a real pain, but as they say, any crash you walk away from is a good one. Fully comp or TPF&T?

TPF&T - The extra cost + excess of fully comp was £1800!!

As the bike was worth £2k part ex before the crash I've still saved money by going TPT&T as long as I can sell the remains for £200 or more! Crazy hey?

Glad you're ok.... Is the geometry still good? Have you thought about going streetfighter?

I'm thinking about doing a street fighter....

It needs new plastic all round (including tail) so street fighter would be the cheaper option.

The frame is straight but something is wrong with the forks. In that pic, the top yoke was straight and the wheel is not!

They might just be twisted a bit, loosen all the pinch bolts and see if everything'll line up again.

Glad you're ok, though. High siding is the scariest of scariest, all that time you are being launched into the air with nothing to think about apart from where you might land.
