Like others here i have a soft spot for early 90's sports bikes, and often browse the classifieds for them. One thing i have recently noticed is US companies like Iconic importing boat loads at a time, which all appear to be decent bikes from the UK. Presumably this is viable because the 25 year rule now allows these bikes to be imported and the US economy doing better provides them with plenty buyers.

So how long before the UK is picked clean? I guess its now or never on buying myself a purple ZXR750.

I'd better find that GSXR750WP that I've wanted since 1993...

That's unusual - the USA has tonnes of 90's sportsbikes (they can be hard to find, however) and where I am (Australia) it's not unknown for people to import bikes, landed, from there for less than a locally delivered model.

I've watched a few youtube videos recently where container loads of bikes from the UK and Germany have arrived at various US dealers. Some lovely bikes from RC/RVF 750's to every imaginable variation of GSXR 750. There is certainly a lot of bikes leaving here at the moment.
