Money no object - what bike?

If someone agreed to buy you a bike (lottery winning relative?) and would also pay for insurance and maintenance, what would you get?

Only condition is that you can’t sell it, or rather if you sell it, they get all the money from the sale. So it is free to you (apart from fuel and accessories) but you can’t flip it to buy something else.

Triumph Street Triple

I know it isn't very exotic, but i tried one on Portimao Circuit years ago and loved it, and it wouldn't cost me too much to run and insure unlike some of the more high-end examples being touted.

Maintenance and insurance are paid for so all you are putting in is fuel.

Never one to miss an opportunity - the 765RS street triple I had was by far the worst bike I've ever owned.

It's all very well paying for maintenance, but what happens when it breaks down? I don't want to be stranded at the side of an Alpine road because the computer said no, or the gearbox shat it.

If the support vehicle has everything required to keep me going a Vincent Black Shadow could be satisfying.

Yeah I'd say a new Goldwing tbh, I'd actually use it and it would last.

I think it would have to be an NR750. It'd be slow and a bit rubbish compared to modern superbikes, but what a thing. Would just be lovely to look at and use on warm summer evenings.
