Can anyone out there recommend an MV Agusta dealer who carries out servicing in the London area? I have a Brutale that needs a service and would prefer somewhere nearer than Dorset or Birmingham!

Try these guys:

Looks like they're based in Kent and Sussex. Not sure if they do actual servicing or not, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Mind you, if you don't mind travelling up to Silverstone, this lot really know their Italian bikes;

What's an MV like to ride and live with then?

Always hankered after a Brutale - looks gorgeous.

Thanks RSVMilly. I know Baines from my Duke and RSV days! Excellent outfit!

Living with the Brutale? Fantastic so far. I must admit to buying the bike with some trepidation after my RSV was stolen. Bought with the heart and not the head! I use the Brutale evry day for a short commute to work through South West London traffic. Much easier than the RSV as you'd expect, light and nimble and with a more comfortable riding position. Weekends is just as much fun although I took a while to get used to the wind blast! However although I used to take the RSV up to silly speeds, I just dont ride like that anymore so the Brutlale is everything I need with awesome power and the sound is intoxicating. I reckon its the best sound to come out of a bike!
With a big touch of wood, it has been completely reliable although I've yet to do a winter on it- I know daft but I've always ridden my bikes year round.
It is a stunning to look at, and the only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is changing gear much morethan the big RSV twin but thats all part of its character. You really have to use the engine properly to get the best out of it whereas on the RSV you could get quite lazy if you wanted and just let that enormous torque propel you along.

And I've never seen another on the road!
