Hi all! Been a lurker for a while and have wanted a ZZR1400 since their release. Had a ZZR600 as my first big bike after passing my test and have had a variety of bikes since then but I've always had the itch for one of these and was just never in a position to do so. Well I finally am and went to view it Saturday. It's a beauty and is in pretty great condition with a few extra bits too like heated grip, an optimate and the end cans.
It's got loads of service history and the valves were checked at 36k miles.
I pick it up next weekend and I can't wait.

Hope the pics work!

Congrats!

Picked up a GTR1400 a few days ago myself as the position is more "me". Great engines, but I am getting some staggeringly bad mileage to a tank, need to run it through another tank though to confirm. Showing 1 bar on the gauge at just over 80miles done (22 lite tank) redface

That sounds extremely low mileage from what I've read of them? Wonder what that could be. How is the GTR?

If you were asking how old, its 2009. Pre "eco mode".

Its had a bench flash by P3 tuning and plates installed, neither by myself obvs.

Not panicking yet, if it stays terrible I'll take it to a diff tuner for a custom map, not arsed about the power being full on, more the smoothness (which is fine but sensitive at lower end of throttle) and MPG

Appreciated! I must admit to originally being set on a green one but I saw this one locally and thought I'd go look and think it looks fantastic.

Looks great! My pal has the same Gen1 model as you in dark Blue. Awesome arent they, complete do it all bike. Light around town, super stable, fun in the twisties but that engine...turbine smooth and huge amounts of torque everywhere.

Enjoy!
Here's a gratuitous pic of mine.

Great bike !

One of these is definitely on my list of bikes to try. But only when I have more time/money to do a few Euro trips.
