Pragmasis anti pinch pin alternative
Discussion
Really disappointed and sad to see that Pragmasis have closed down… although there is apparently another business picking up the baton at some point.
Does anyone know of an alternative product to their anti pinch pin, that is so convenient to use through the BMW swing arm/ final drive unit?
Just went to place an order and thought it was odd everything was out of stock, then saw the news section. Very sad

Just been reading over their website. Sorry the old company has closed. It looks like a new company is taking over.
I have 2 Pragmasis chains, including my daily chain. A few years back they did a chain in a made to order length for me.

Ben Cope ( Visordown ) has bought the company

" A New Era for Pragmasis is Beginning
This is Steve announcing major progress on the new generation of Pragmasis!
I am delighted that the new company has been formed under new (and younger!) ownership and a formal agreement has been signed between us to allow 'Pragmasis Engineering Limited' to take over the security product range we developed under Pragmasis.
Pragmasis Engineering will take over manufacture of many products in the range with my authorisation and support so we can ensure product quality will be appropriately maintained. We will continue to use exactly the same external factories and subcontractors as we used previously. Production is already underway for new batches of the following:
Protector 13mm/16mm/19mm chains in a variety of lengths;
Torc Mega Ground Anchors (multiple fitting kits will be available);
RL21 RoundLocks and RL21A sockets (Keyed-to-Differ and Keyed-Alike will be available).
Plans for other products are in consideration, including ideas for new products. Pragmasis Engineering hopes to expand the product range as time goes on, with my design input where I can be helpful.
My brother, David, will also be involved in the new business. David provided our customer front-line support and he will be providing ongoing technical backup for the new business, thereby retaining the depth and quality of guidance that Pragmasis became well-known for.
The photo shows the new owner of Pragmasis Engineering (Ben Cope) signing the agreement with me on 8th February. Ben has been deeply involved in the motorcycle industry for many years and has a strong customer ethic, something always very important to us."
Great news they have been taken over.
I always found them really good to deal with and manufactured great products.
I also desperately want another anti pinch pin.
I may have unlocked my bike one day and forgot to remove the pin from the rear wheel, I only realised when I went to lock my bike up the next day. No idea how long it stayed in place before it came out and despite a lot of searching along the lane from my house I never found it.

I did read all that but I couldn’t find whatever new website has been set up, there is no mention of anti pinch pins being made and finally, I need to secure a bike in roughly a week’s time….Ben Cope ( Visordown ) has bought the company
