Ruroc helmets any experience - thoughts?
Discussion
As per the title,
Went to the ExCel show fortnight ago and spent some time looking at new helmets,
Didn't see this brand but quite fancy the Atlas 4
https://www.ruroc.com/en_gb/atlas-4-ruby
Main considerations to me (Apart from fitting obviously)
Current helmet is Carbon shelled - This is also Carbon shelled as I like the light weight.
Current helmet DD chinstrap - I like the idea of Fidlock (Seatbelt style latching)
Whilst not super important it has Shockwave Bluetooth Audio which is probably better than using a phone earpiece for the rare occasions I need NAVI directions.
Obviously I'm liking the look/design
What are your thoughts on this lid?

One thing to consider is that Ruroc helmets sometimes have mixed reviews regarding wind noise. Some riders find them a bit louder than premium helmets from brands like Shoei or Arai. The aerodynamics have improved with each generation though, and the Atlas 4 is their most refined model yet.
Have you had a chance to try one on for fit? Ruroc helmets tend to have a slightly more oval internal shape.

Tried one at Donington on the launch. Hated it Really loud uncomfortable and anything passed 90mph the helmet was pressed up against my nose
Horrible. Wouldn't wear one even if the gave me it. And that's unusual for me

Was that the Atlas 4 or another model?Horrible. Wouldn't wear one even if the gave me it. And that's unusual for me

You say helmet pressed against nose, Could it have been a bit large for you, I'm a medium and rarely get any movement with a lid

No was a small and was tight to get on but it twisted downwards and the shaped nose piece pressed into my nose.

Crash helmet that doesn't fit properly is uncomfortable to wear.No was a small and was tight to get on but it twisted downwards and the shaped nose piece pressed into my nose.
Wow, what a shocker!
It's almost like different helmet makes from different countries have different head shapes that find them comfortable whereas others don't is an entirely new concept in motorcycling .

Sorry the question was opinions on Ruroc Helmets. I gave my opinion. I,m guessing you weren't at the launch so haven't tried one and are unable to offer any useful input. Wow, what a shocker!
