Oh to be a rich Honda RC fan at the moment!

I did not know that Jack Valentine still is active, I remember him from his "Pro Stock Bike" days,
when he was Drag Racing Euroserie Champ several times.
He had a true legendary moment when he had to push his 200Kg Suzuki in Hockenheim,
after a breakdown just a few feet out on the quartermile.
His opponent broke with locked transmission, and back in the late 80s the racer had to reach the finish line
under own power, be it machine or manpower.
To the great cheers from the crowd, he pushed, in full leathers, in +30°C, in the sun,
and almost fainted when he arrived, won the trophy and prize money though.
Jack was lean and fit back then, as was his wife, great couple.

It would be a good time to be a millionaire Honda RC30/45 collector.
The Bike Specialists have this V&M RC45 for sale:

And Bonhams have this ex-Fogarty TT F1 RC30 coming up next month:

Along with this ex-Foggy TT winning RC30:

For me it would be the RC45!
Those Fogarty RC30’s bring back some great memories. What a rider he was back then and a cut everyone on similar machinery. Absolute Legend. The Bike Specialists have this V&M RC45 for sale:
