Listening to music/directions?

What do people use for listening to music or directions when on the bike? Do I need to go down the route of Cardo or Sena systems, or do people just ride with some form of bluetooth earphones in?

I've been using a Freedcon unit for years. Currently using the R1 Pro model with camera. Very happy with them. Never failed in 5+ years and it cost me £19 in an amazon fire sale!

R1 Pro unit cost me £47 on ali express. Thoroughly recommend either.

I use a Cardo Packtalk but I also want to communicaye with a pillion and other riders.
