I have taken the liner out of my go-to Jacket . Winter gloves are away summer gloves are out . Summer trouser worn today .
It was 20.5 degrees showing on the bike today Sussex, and I was actually hot , opened the vents that do nothing .

So if it all goes bad now , you know who to blame .

On a separate matter I think the time has come for me to give in and wear my driving glasses in my helmet , they fit but even today at lights, when stopped they steam up . Any tips for that ?

The best solution I’ve found are these No-Fog Wipes:

I've not tried the rubbing in washing up liquid trick on my glasses.

Thanks for the wipes suggestion.

It was windy on Weds. and still pretty blustery today.

17 degrees when I took the bike out for its first run of the year on Tuesday which was pleasant enough.

It was 7 degrees today which shows the chilly weather hasn’t quite gone yet.

Thursday and Friday it’s looking like it’s going to be 20 degrees up here in the frozen north east.

I think I feel an illness coming g in that will require 2 days off work sick.

Glad I didn't take my inners out. Wished I took my heated jacket!

Bloody perfect here!!
Ride to Box Hill air temp was showing 15c at midday.
Summer gloves, Kevlar jeans, but jacket still with thermal liner.
I absolutely love spring when it's like this - hopefully it'll be like this in May when all the flowers & leaves are out.

Is it weird to have hobbies including biking & gardening????

Good news: My lovely muffs came off a fortnight ago.
Bad news: Bugs are a consideration again.

Summer gloves, Kukka kit still has the liner in, still got the mid-layer. Mesh jacket is imminent, however, and that makes me so happy.

Look at that sky , beautiful, going to see if I can knock something up to attach the motorbike to the lorry ( could put in in trailer if it wasn’t full ) , then instead of siting on my back side for 45 mins I could go for a blast

Many years ago, I was knocked off my Guzzi Le Mans by a U-turning Escort van ("Sorry mate, I don't have a wing mirror."). While we were exchanging details, a Welsh National Opera pantechnicon pulled up. Turned out the driver was someone I vaguely knew from the year above me in school.

Business concluded, including a visit from the police, who were called, from a nearby telephone box, by my school acquaintance (convictions for the van driver and his employer), the bike and I were offered a lift home in the truck.

Tail lift lowered, doors opened, revealing a lot of stage scenery and a Guzzi T3. smile The WNO were kind enough to transport it all over Europe for him to ride in between driving and stage setup duties. clap
