Does a change of can effect warranty

It seems a akrapovic is warranty friendly with Kawasaki , but nigh on £1,000 is ridiculous , also when I vt bike ( pcp ) there’s going to be very little market for the can if I keep it , try to sell it .if I leave it on it looks like the pcp company will charge me for removal , I’m guessing they want it standard .
So has any one replaced a can while a bike was under warranty , not a manufacturer recommended one ? Was there any issue if you made a claim ?
Any recommendations if I do just decide to risk it , not stupidly noisy , but a bit more noise than standard would be nice .
Also tail tidy , recommendation ?

I’d fit a can but take it off for service and definitely if I presented the bike for warranty work.
Tail tidy should be fine but if you got unlucky and the tail light failed in warranty you would probably want to put it back to standard before taking it to be fixed. Evotech are a well respected aftermarket tail tidy maker.
I’d also think about a rad guard.

I think they’d struggle to refuse a warranty claim if you were running a street legal exhaust but, as other posters have said, just play safe if the swap is easy enough.
You could ask a couple of dealers for their view. I would imagine most sensible dealers would put customer service and return business ahead of pedantry around warranty terms and conditions,

Your dealer sounds like an idiot and I know its easier said than done but I would have kicked up a fuss of it being noted on a service invoice.

Whilst I understand your point of view, if you look at some of the radiator guards. If you close the spaces up and look at the solid part, some are blocking almost 50% of the radiator that must have a significant effectYour dealer sounds like an idiot and I know its easier said than done but I would have kicked up a fuss of it being noted on a service invoice.
