What bike did I see (weird lights)?

I'm not a biker but I had a bike behind me for a while the other day that had what I can only describe as twin headlights that looked like a X and an = sign.

I didn't spot the make and model of the bike but I'm reasonably sure it was pretty new and from a quick Google I'm pretty sure these weren't aftermarket or tape on the lights (from a quick Google this is a thing) and they looked like a distinct illuminated X on one light and a = on the other against a dark background so maybe at night the whole light lights up?

I'd describe the lights as yellow and not particularly bright.

Any ideas please as it's bugging me

Thanks so far best I can come up with is imagine two of these and the X seems pretty close but I'm sure the other one was either a straight line or an = type light.

May well be aftermarket it just didn't look like it had been bolted on alongside anything else.

Now that's pretty much it so far as the though I'm sure they were a more "mustard" type of yellow and there were two distinct units.

Close enough though.

The thing I was was more curious about was what on earth that lighting pattern is all about?

Pretty sure I couldn't just swap out the lights on my car to something like that

Yeah you could, they're just DRLs. Pretty sure that the only requirement is height and light pattern on the main lights, you could have letters or two illuminated cocks for DRLs and pass an MOT

I've had a play around with mine, but they have proper beam patterns
