A group of us are doing the ACT soon I'm just finalising the route and this has popped up

It's always been easy for bikes to get through before - does anyone know the current situation as I thought the landslip issue was fixed a couple of years ago

Thanks but the question remains is it closed or CLOSED !

We can usually squeeze through but they're narrow lanes around there

The previous closure, because of a landslip, was always passable after the temporary repair. I suspect that Openreach will have it completely blocked, but I haven't seen any confirmation either way.

Let us know what you find. smile

EDIT
Searched again, and found this on Facebook

You might be able to sneak through on an off-road bike during the day, but it depends how they feel about letting you through the works

Yes we usually manage to ignore road closures but a tipper truck or similar will completely fill those lanes so I think we'll have to divert if we can't get there before 9.30am
