Just about to renew one of my bikes insurance, not a lot on so thought I'd be good and check out all the 'paperwork'.
On the page of (13) exclusions, many were as expected:
"Don't engage in racing or irresponsible behaviour. This means when the vehicle is being used:
● For racing, trialling, speed testing or..."

But was taken aback by:
"used in a manner which involves grinding, cutting, welding or soldering or the use of blow lamps or similar."

Do many of you concurrently get a bit of welding/soldering done or pop your blow lamp out whilst out on your bike?

Basically 'not to be used in Mad Max films'.

A reasonable insurance requirement.

Ah I see, so something else that has passed me by.
So to 'counter steering' and 'trail braking' I can now add 'blow lamping'.
There must be some YouTube channels on it, is it NSFW or can I google away?

Do 100 miles on a 100 year old motorbike and see how many bits you have to weld back on hehe
