Never known anything like it. Could do with tear-offs just for my 5 mile ride home from work.

Same here last week, I think it was when I went from Bath to Swanage, ended up like the jolly green giant (but more grumpy green short-arse).

I had a flash back to the summer of 1976 skateboarding in Greenwich park leaving 'tyre' tracks of squashed greenfly.

Not just me then, the past few months I have had way more squished bugs than I can remember for a long time.

Maybe we're just getting back to the way it used to be.

Or maybe the collapse in the insect population has propagated into the bird population and the insects are starting to recover...

Up in Aberdeenshire definitely a lot buggier than it’s been in recent years. They’re generally good for the environment, apart from those that eat plants we like, so good luck to them.
Wasps however need to be abolished. Went into my shed for the first time in a fortnight to be greeted by a melon sized nest - impressive but had to go - my actions were not appreciated by the tenants.

Just had a week touring in Irish republic and we all commented on the lack of bugs on visors etc, funny that.

Apparently farmers planting more wild flowers for this year has something to do with it.

I like nature, plants etc. and appreciate bugs have their part to play in this. But maybe they can ease off a little hehe

Have just done a 400 mile round trip in the car over last couple of days and as the sun was setting on the way home clean I had to stop and clean the windscreen so I could see where I was going . Never seen so many bugs !

I’m finding the south east area a lot less buggy this year.

Yep, look like I’m into insect bukkake this year.
