Short term bike insurance

Due to an operation that meant that I was not going to be able to wear a helmet for a few months, I put the bike on laid up insurance for 6 months, however the operation did not ahead, and the weather is reasonably fine at the moment, so I still want to ride the bike now and then.

Current insurer does not offer a weekend / 48 hour insurance cover and I do not want to re start my policy as I do not have that much free time to ride for the next few months anyway.

Can anyone recommend a temp cover company that they have used for ad hoc cover ?
