So I am having issues fitting led indicators to my 2003 triumph T100.
I have fitted a new relay, that’s supposed to be good for LED or normal bulbs.
With all 4 indicators fitted, if I indicate left both left indicators flash fine, but both right indicators also flash faintly. Indicate right, same thing, rights flash ok but lefts flash faintly.
My initial thought was I have made a mistake with the wiring. But it’s correct.
If I put the original back indicators back on, with the front LEDs then it works perfectly.
If I put the original front indicators on and the back led ones it works fine.
I can only think it’s the relay, but I really don’t understand how it can be getting any power to the ones which aren’t supposed to be indicating.
Anyone got any ideas?

Have a search on t'internet. IIRC there is some sort of ECU/Relay reset procedure to get everything sync'd up.

I think that’s just the later ones. Mines 2003 on carbs.

Looking online it seems to be that it’s to do with residual power going through the indicator warning light, and it needs diodes fitting to make it work. But I haven’t worked out how or where to get them from yet.

Could be the unexpectedly low resistance causing issues. I had some weirdness fitting LEDs to my Triumph. They didn’t flash at all without any resistors, worked perfectly as long as the engine wasn’t running with both resistors, but with the engine running they would flash once and only once, but with a resistor fitted to the rear one only, worked perfectly.

Try using resistors and the original relay.

This seems to be a common problem where there is only one control light for both sides of turn signals.
Solution here, with wiring diagram :

The things you are looking for is two "blocking diodes" to prevent this unwanted "hazard warning lights" effect.
