So, as you may know I dropped my 2006 scrambler before Christmas and i need to replace the clutch and gear levers.
Having never bought these items before, should I go genuine Triumph parts, or aftermarket, and if so what are good quality brands to look for ?

My mate said get a gear lever with the folding end, in case I drop it again, bloody cheek ! They are more expensive, so do they really work as intended or can they still snap if you drop it ?

Cheers

Anything can snap. The trick is not to keep dropping it!

Ebay is your friend here; pre-loved genuine parts are generally significantly cheaper than brand new and, unless you are keen to go for multi-adjustable bling, genuine is always better than Chinesium.

For good reason quality, non blingy tat at a decent price have a look at the Evotech levers.

They have the added benefit of being foldable too should you ever drop the bike again.
