Anyone thinking about buying the Chinese Ducati?

Not just those caveats but also quality. I've seen Chinese bikes wither and corrode in less than a year of use. Would not touch with a barge pole.
Older Chinese bikes certainly had a justified reputation for poor materials, but the newer generation of brands such as Voge and QJMotor seem to be far better. ZXMoto will be an interesting addition to the brands available.LunarOne said:

On the other hand you can pay £18k for a real Ducati, and at just 4 years old and 19k miles have the pleasure of a new oil cooler (rotted through) £400 quid new drive belt £400 quid and a full desmo service, best part of £1k

I met a Diavel owner in March last year. I'd already spotted their bike in the hospital car park while I was killing time. It's used not a garage queen. He mentioned the expense and regretted getting ride of their some limited edition or anniversary edition Monster? An 821? That oil cooler would rot through if it was coated in road crud? I can't comment on whether those parts are expensive or not. £1K doesn't too bad to me for that but I am not the person paying it.
The Diavel may look better disrobed. It's still an eyeful.

Don't know a thing about it, but that's a good looking bike!!
The team just won a world superbike race and received around 6 thousand new orders just because of that carinaman said:

Any component is going to suffer with a layer of road crud on it so thick that beardy guy with a hat from Time Team will be able to find a lost Roman villa lurking underneath, 4 years with that lot is as much to blame as the component quality.hidetheelephants said:
