Anyone looking for fellow riders for a tour on the continent this summer ?

I checked the travel section and couldn't see anything specific to motorcycles.

I am thinking of either ferry to Spain or France or chunnel to N France. Then a week long tour on good roads.
Not super fast riding, but not hanging around either.

I can plan things like routes and accommodation if required.
I might have one or two pals who could be interested, esp in Spain.

My usual partner in crime has his holiday plans scuppered this year.

After a few years of riding out with mates on various trips, I’m firmly in the solo rider camp now.

Probably selfish, but it’s my holiday and I don’t get a lot of time off so I just want to be doing my thing and not hanging about for anyone.

In saying that, I’m just doing my usual MotoGP trip down to Italy this year, nothing else planned.

Hope you get something good sorted out, touring in Europe is one of the great things to do on a bike.

There are 2 Old Gits trips this year, the main one to the Italian Dolomites - 24 bikes, and an Extra Trip to the Route des Grande Alps - 8 bikes. Unfortuntely both are fully booked. Sign up to our mailing list at www.old-gits.org to get notifications of future trips.

September trip with mates for me, schlep from Calais to Nancy, Route des Cretes through Alsace, Jura to Grenoble, Route Napoleon, couple of nights in Antibes, back up through the Gorges du Verdon, Maussanne and the Ardeche, Poitiers to a favourite restaurant and home via the ferry from Cherbourg.

We're all booked up now but even this far ahead finding that hotels are getting booked up!

Should be fun biggrin
