Aftermarket foot pegs - are these safe ?

I'm looking for some replacement foot pegs for my Triumph scrambler, and wanted to get a set of lowered for more comfort.
These unbranded made in China types above, to my mind it seems they take all the weight on the countersunk hex bolts set into the aluminum , which look about a 6mm (maybe its 8mm?) from the picture.
I'm just wondering if they are strong enough to support your weight if you stand up on the pegs ?
The SW Motech ones below look constructed like the factory type, a full cast frame so I'd assume full strength. However these only lower about 15mm.

My only experience of SW Motech is some bar risers on my Monster and they are great quality, though only a simple part so hard to get it wrong.
As for the Chinese footpegs, they maybe fine maybe not, the only way to find out is to buy them, my recent experience of cheap/Chinese bike parts is with some mirrors.
I have CRG mirrors on my Monster and they're great, small but work well, fold away etc. and I wanted one for my ebike but didn't want to pay CRG prices so I bought some Chinese knock-offs from ebay (less than £20 for a pair compared to around £80 each for genuine CRG), they look identical and work fine but in the last couple of years both have broken during light bicycle use whereas the originals have been on the Monster for 15 years or so with no problems.
The difference is the CRG are made from billet aluminium and the cheapos from cast chinesium.

The bolt itself is just clamping the parts together, it won't see any bending load, the metal "stay" is where failure would occur, but without knowing dimensions and loads its hard to calculate if the part is well designed.
That style of design with a plate moving the peg away from the mount are pretty common on sportsbikes, so the concept isn't unusual. I believe Rizoma do an eccentric footpeg which is v similar in style.
If you do go ahead with them, I would ensure that the various bolts are torqued up before final fitting, and put thread locker on as well. Your foot pegs will see a lot of vibration and if a bolt starts to back out and reduce clamping force, that is where you will start to run the risk of shearing a bolt.

Ive witnessed a bike go down the road at an event due to a poor quality Chinese brake lever and seen a couple of other poorly machined levers.
While I have bought cosmetic items from china for both bike and car , on critical control items, the cost doesn’t outweigh the risk , thats my personal attitude to it anyway.

A good sign for foot pegs being safe is an approval from an entity you trust. Look for a test certificate referencing a standard being part of the offer.
